Gaststatte Metzger in Friedberg

We have been visiting the Metzger restaurant for many years now and are always happy to come back. With every visit you are always served in a friendly and warm manner. The choice of food is varied and always has something for every taste. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, it is not permitted to dine directly in the Metzger restaurant - but thanks to the great take away program, it is possible to be pampered at home. The takeaway food, as in the restaurant, is always fresh and tastes excellent. Especially now at Christmas time, despite the difficult time, you spoiled us with your fine poultry and extremely delicious desserts. Stay as you are and carry on like this! We always look forward to the next visit, whether on site or to take away. best regards of the four grubers

Very clean inn. Super friendly service. Down-to-earth food very tasty. Price performance is okay. Corona measures are strictly adhered to. We'd love to come back.

Service was good. Ambience was good. Dessert was good. Main course was good. Everything was fine, except for the beer, I didn't like it, but there's no arguing about the taste, so no star deduction.

Unfortunately, less than 1 star is not possible! We called in the morning and wanted to reserve a table for Sunday evening. It was answered, I quote: "Must it be to reserve a table on Sunday noon !!" I've never seen anything like that before. Here you seem to be undesirable as a guest. Good to know because we will never go there again and we will not recommend it to anyone. Addendum: There is no wrong time here either. The customer is king and that's not how you deal with customers!

The food was delicious. The service was impeccable, only came across as a bit rough at times, but not unfriendly. I thought it was okay.

We always like to come back to the butcher restaurant, eat very tasty and the service is always very friendly. See you soon :-)

We arrived 1 hour before closing and could still order relaxed and the super friendly service was on the ball. The wine recommendation was also appropriate. And that in Bavaria, the land of beer drinkers. Everything came to the table quickly. The salad was still fresh and tasty in the evening. The food is great. We had spinach spaetzle with mushroom cream sauce, really delicious. And a "Münchner Schnitzel that was breaded with horseradish. Great combination. Everything came out perfectly and quickly. The portions were more than sufficient, so we took a short walk through the small town. Always gladly

Was very good by the company gruma on-site eating is good and down-to-earth one can recommend. I do not know the prices now but certainly not too expensive.

Due to Corona, I only had the opportunity to get something so far. It worked out great! Delicious food, fresh ingredients, great meat quality, fine salad.

Well, I wavered due to the low prices whether I should give 3 *, but primarily the quality of the dishes should be evaluated. So: Sufficient amount, but average in taste and consistency, rather below. Both with meat and with salad. French fries ok, spaetzle too. Desserts except ice cream practically nonexistent. Service still ok. Should be very hungry and have no alternative to go back.

Been to lunch with the whole family today. We already made reservations in summer. The family was divided into two different tables. The Christmas card has about 15 dishes, one with fish, not thought for vegetarians. Changes to the insert were not accepted. The “vegetables” were canned. We have been eating there for over 40 years, but it has never been as bad as it is today. I can no longer recommend the butcher.

We were here 5 or 6 times today while eating! You can only recommend it, here is the price, the quality and the portion! The place was always full of guests, that speaks for itself! And still you get a table! The service staff are friendly and accommodating! We'll be back for sure
